Have you heard of Jaguariaíva? The name comes from Tupi-Guarani and means “river of the fierce jaguar”.
In north-eastern Paraná, near Sengés (Paraná), Itararé and Bom Sucesso do Itararé (São Paulo), the town is part of the Itararé Valley. With the Jaguaricatu Canyon, ranked the 8th longest canyon in the world, Jaguariaíva offers beautiful landscapes, refreshing waterfalls and plenty of adventure tourism.
We welcome riders for lunch and a briefing between 12 pm and 2 pm. After the briefing, we head out in 4×4 vehicles to the flooded Fábio Rego tunnel. In the evening, a home-cooked dinner.
A full day! In 4×4 vehicles or on your own bike, we take the Waterfall Trail in Sengés, past the Erva Doce, Véu da Noiva, Postinho and Navio waterfalls and the Jaguaricatu Canyon. In the evening, a barbecue at the inn.
A free day to enjoy the region, get ready for the ride home and start thinking about the next trip.
