Why this tour

The complete tour for motorcycle travellers: motorcycle touring, craft beer, German culture and plenty of know-how about travelling on two wheels.

In the Entre Rios district of Guarapuava, in the highlands of Paraná, the community keeps the traditions of its settlers, the Danube Swabians. Refugees from the Second World War, they found the right conditions to apply their farming techniques and made the region a benchmark for South American agriculture. It is Brazil’s barley capital, with the largest malt house in South America.

We visit the São Francisco Falls, 196 metres high and the highest waterfall in southern Brazil, the craft breweries with tastings (by van) and the waterfalls around Entre Rios, and experience German culture at a traditional dinner with a live band. There is also the Basic Mechanics course with Alexandre Piu of Piu Motorrad and our Planning your Motorcycle Trip workshop.

The tour has a special discount for anyone who has already travelled with Route to Dream or has a trip booked with us. If you would rather leave your bike at home and come by car, it is also a great option for the whole family.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Entre Rios

Hotel check-in from 4 pm, with pools and jacuzzis available. A tour of the colonies and dinner from 8 pm.
Day 2 São Francisco Falls, craft breweries and traditional dinner

A full day, and this time by van! At 7 am we leave for the São Francisco Falls, the highest waterfall in southern Brazil. At 1 pm the Bierweg begins, with lunch and tastings at the region's craft breweries, guided by a beer sommelier. At 8 pm, a traditional German dinner with a folk band.
Day 3 Entre Rios waterfalls, Basic Mechanics and Planning your Motorcycle Trip

At 9 am, a city tour of Entre Rios and the waterfall circuit. At noon, feijoada. At 2 pm, the Basic Mechanics course with Alexandre Piu of Piu Motorrad. At 7 pm, dinner at the Donau Bier brewery and, at 9 pm, our Planning your Motorcycle Trip workshop.
Day 4 Heading home

A free morning to enjoy the Entre Rios colonies with the friends made on the tour before heading home. Check-out at 11 am.
